Bio Statement

Dr. Tanco is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Medicine at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

He received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines.

His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in New York and his Palliative Care Fellowship was completed at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Research Interests

Dr. Tanco's research interests include Caregiver Distress and Cancer Pain.
