Clinical Interests

1.        GHN is the new anchor department for the Virology and Gene Therapy Program of the UTGSBS at Houston, which addresses important health issues, including viral hepatitis and associated cancers, new vaccines and treatment strategies with oncolytic viruses.

2.       The Colon Cancer Research Initiative, which includes cross collaborations with Baylor, TMC, and other academic institutions, has been formed to provide necessary advice and guidance necessary to build a roadmap and improve the ability of our investigators and teams to conduct research that will significantly impact the lives of our patients and cure colorectal cancer.
