Bio Statement
Head and neck cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world. Our research projects are to investigate the molecular mechanism of development and progression of head and neck cancer, including deregulation of tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes. Also, our research involves the understanding of metabolic alterations in head and neck cancer, which are regulated with alterations of tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes. Our goal is to develop novel therapeutic strategies.
Research Interests
1. Signal tranduction regulation of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes
2. Anoikis
