      About Dr. Adegbenga O. Otun

      Dr. Adegbenga Otun is an assistant professor in the section of Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Department of Head and Neck Surgery,  at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  In  providing optimal patient care and improved treatment outcomes, he  collaborates daily with colleagues in Head and Neck Surgery, Radiation and Medical  Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Speech Pathology, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Leukemia, Breast and other medical disciplines. 

      Dr. Otun is a fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP), member of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) and American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM). His clinical  interests include implant and facial prosthetic rehabilitation and reduction of oral morbidities of cancer therapy. Area of Research concentration is  understanding the shift in oral microbiome following head and neck radiation  therapy.
