Bio Statement

Dr. Akhila S. Reddy received her medical degree in 1999 from Sri Siddhartha Medical College in Karnataka, India and trained at Austin Medical Educational Program, Department of Family Medicine in Austin, Texas, where she was recipient of the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine’s Resident-Teacher Award.” In 2010, Dr. Reddy completed the Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas, where she is currently an Assistant Professor. Her research interests include delirium and pain management in cancer patients. Dr. Reddy is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
