About Dr. Brian De
Dr.De has currently completed his residency in Radiation Oncology with interests in clinical and translational research. He has worked extensively with large national and institutional databases to better characterize outcomes in oncology. He is particularly interested in identifying opportunities for cancer patients to receive therapies that minimize morbidity while improving disease control and reducing mortality. In pursuit of this goal, He has the training, motivation, multidisciplinary exposure, leadership, and mentorship necessary to successfully complete the proposed project. His background is in health care economics, with specific training and expertise in econometric and biostatistical analysis. He has furthered these skills by working as a health care consultant and project manager at a large strategy and marketing consulting firm., where i developed predictive models for corporations to guide pharmaceutical development and deployment. He has built upon these skills in a medical setting by designing and carrying out observational studies to identify subgroups of patients for whom personalization of therapy could lead to better patient outcomes, which has led to several peer-reviewed publications. He hopes to one day build a career in academic radiation oncology with a focus on analysis of large datasets developed from radiographic, pathologic, and clinical sources.
