About Dr. Estrella
I am a GI and Liver Pathology subspecialty trained Anatomic Pathologist with over 10 years experience. My research focus is on GI and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, working with researchers and clinicians on in vivo mouse models and translational research to contribute to the current knowledge of the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and improve quality of patient care in this relatively rare disease. I am also the primary Pathologist in the multidisciplinary gastric carcinoma team, reviewing all relevant pathology material and engaging in discussions regarding diagnosis and treatment of patients being presented.
