About Dr. Maggie Britton
Dr. Maggie Britton is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research interests center around reducing disparities in tobacco use and cessation among minoritized and marginalized groups. The goal of her research is to adapt, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions using implementation science frameworks to address and prevent disparities in tobacco-related cancers. Currently, she is focused on several projects, including the implementation of a multi-component tobacco-free workplace program across diverse community healthcare settings and the expansion of MD Anderson Quitline services to opioid treatment settings as well as supporting their capacity to offer tailored clinical care for select populations.
