About Dr. Stephanie Dudzinski
Stephanie O. Dudzinski, MD, PhD, received her B.S. with distinction in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and her M.D. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering through the Medical Scientist Training Program at Vanderbilt University. She completed her residency in radiation oncology through the American Board of Radiology Holman Research Pathway at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she joined the faculty in the Department of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Dudzinski specializes in the treatment of patients with genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, using image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), proton therapy, and brachytherapy. Her research focuses on translational radiation oncology, tumor immunology, advanced imaging, and radiation-induced immune modulation.
Dr. Dudzinski is also nationally recognized for her commitment to medical education. She has served as Chair of the ACRO Resident Committee, an Executive Board Member of ACRO, Curriculum Chair for the MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Residency Program, and Medical Student Rotation Coordinator. Her contributions to resident and medical student education have been recognized with the ARRO Resident Educator of the Year Award, the MD Anderson Resident Educator of the Year Award, and the Mary Fletcher Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence as a PGY2 resident.
