      About Dr. Suman Shrestha

      Dr. Shrestha is a Board‑Certified Medical Physicist and Assistant Professor of Radiation Physics (Patient Care) at MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in advanced radiation therapy, computational dosimetry, and survivorship research. His work includes developing quantitative models of stray neutron exposure in proton therapy and advancing organ‑specific dosimetry phantoms. His current research focuses on cardiac substructure dose–response modeling to improve risk prediction for radiation‑related heart disease and to inform more precise treatment planning.
