About Dr. Susan K. Lee
Dr. Lee’s areas of expertise are public/community health and education, having taught for more than 25 years. Her strengths include curriculum development and educational strategies, as well as working with and advocating for marginalized populations impacted by disparities and diversity. Dr. Lee has served as a grant reviewer for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Nursing Innovative Grant Program and contributed to Texas Nurses Foundation Academic Progression in Nursing, Concept Based Curriculum Development, developing concept-based curriculum for Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), ADN to BSN, and MSN programs. Current scholarship includes serving as a contributing editor for population/community health nursing, medical terminology, and psychiatric nursing textbooks, peer-reviewed journal articles, and national/international presentations on community health-related activities and education. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), an Experienced Academic Leader Academy (EALA) Scholar for Sigma Theta Tau International, a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), and a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP).
