About Dr. Jones
Dr. Jones has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles. In 2013 he won the American Association of Physicists in Medicine’s Farrington Daniels Award for the best paper on dosimetry published in Medical Physics, the journal of the association. He served as president of the Southwest Chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Jones regularly lectures at national and international conferences, has organized several conferences, served as faculty for hands-on workshops, and written several book chapters. He has mentored numerous clinical residents and fellows. He has worked as a collaborator on several grants funded by professional societies and industry, and is currently a collaborator on an NIH R01 titled "Anatomical Modeling to Improve the Precision of Image Guided Liver Ablation."
