About Dr. Andrew Sohn
Dr. Andrew Sohn is a molecular and computational pathologist in the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Assistant Professor in the Division of Pathology/Laboratory Medicine, where he practices clinical molecular diagnostics and develops and supports software for laboratory and data management. He is also part of the Digital Pathology working group at MD Anderson and is focused on the software developmental aspects of the initiative.
With a background in machine learning and data engineering, his informatics efforts are directed toward improving pathologist and lab workflows (both anatomic and molecular) with artificial intelligence (i.e., large language models, multimodal foundation models) and building a modern DataOps infrastructure at MD Anderson.
