About Darya Kizub
Dr. Kizub completed a Bachelor of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University and the medical degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Washington and her hematology oncology fellowship at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to her fellowship, she spent four years working as a hospitalist. Her hobbies include biking, rock and mountain climbing, sailing, gardening, and painting. She is fluent in French, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Research Interests
Dr. Kizub is interested in bridging disparities in cancer care both at home and in low and middle-income countries with a focus on breast malignancies, improving access to novel clinical trials, and improving cancer early detection, including through better access to guideline-concordant testing for hereditary cancer syndromes. Her research includes projects in the United States, her home country Ukraine, Zambia, Uganda, and Cote d'Ivoire.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Kizub is board-certified in both hematology and oncology. In her current role, she treats patients with both early-stage and metastatic breast cancer as well as patients with hereditary genetic mutations that increase the risk of breast cancer and other cancers.
