About Dr. Kang
Dr. H. Christine Kang is an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She obtained her medical degree from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Kang then moved to St. Louis, MO and received her PhD in Neurosciences from Washington University in St. Louis, studying functional MRI of cognitive task control. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency and Abdominal Imaging fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During this time, she became interested in imaging biomarkers of tumor response and conducted research on early MRI findings of renal cell carcinoma after targeted therapy. Her research and clinical interests focus on imaging biomarkers of various tumors, including cholangiocarcinoma and renal cell carcinoma.
