About Dr. Iwan Paolucci
Dr. Paolucci is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interventional Radiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. His background is in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering, and he holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. His main areas of research include artificial intelligence and stereotactic and robotic image-guidance for treatment of hepatobiliary malignancies with a strong focus on thermal ablation of primary and secondary malignant liver tumors. Additionally, he investigates artificial intelligence-based methods for outcome prediction and treatment recommendation.
