About Dr. John W. Shuck
Dr. Shuck is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed undergraduate at John’s Hopkins University followed by medical school at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University followed by a fellowship in microvascular and reconstructive surgery at MD Anderson. Dr. Shuck is interested in all aspects of reconstructive surgery including breast, head and neck, extremity, and trunk reconstruction. He has a special interest in microsurgical innovation and emerging robotic applications in plastic surgery. He has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and he regularly lectures nationally and internationally.
