About Dr. Juan Camilo Ocampo Ramos
Dr. Juan Ocampo Ramos , is a board-certified medical physicist in nuclear medicine, holds a degree in Physics Engineering, a MSc, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the National University of Colombia. After dedicating seven years to clinical medical physics in diagnostic radiology within Colombia, Dr. Ocampo Ramos pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical trials for targeted radionuclide therapy at INSERM in France. Subsequently, he joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, contributing to the MIRDsoft project aimed at developing and validating clinical tools for radiopharmaceutical dosimetry and hybrid imaging.
Dr. Ocampo Ramos's interests include internal dosimetry, quality assurance in diagnostic radiology, and radiological protection. He is an active member of several organizations, including the ICRP , EURADOS , SNMMI, and the medical physics and radiological protection community in Latin America.

Research Interests
Interests include dosimetry and radiological protection. His research center on reference dosimetry and personalized dosimetry in nuclear medicine, including computational dosimetry, Monte Carlo simulation, computational phantoms, designing and engineering software.
