About Dr. Shin
Dr. Shin obtained his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas (1994). He received internship training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan (1994-1995) and physical medicine and rehabilitation residency training at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan (1995-1998).
On completion of his residency training in 1998, Dr. Shin accepted an appointment to the Department of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where he is currently an Associate Professor. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include neuro rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, and pain management. Improving quality of life in the cancer patient using the rehabilitation team is his goal.
