Research Interests
As a part of the IROC Houston Quality Assurance Center, my work provides scientific expertise in radiotherapy to support establishing appropriate quality assurance (QA) procedures used in National Cancer Institute (NCI) sponsored clinical trials. My ultimate goal is to ensure precise and reliable radiation treatments for clinical trial patients by minimizing uncertainties and maximizing accuracy. As such, my research is dedicated to enhancing radiation therapy QA through innovative techniques and continuous improvements. Currently, I am focused on advancing QA methods for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) applications and developing more individualized plan feedback for IROC's phantom programs.
