About Dr. Mena Mansour
I am a surgical pathologist with fellowship training in head and neck pathology. My academic and clinical work has centered on advancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, particularly through digital pathology. In my previous role, I led the transition of the frozen section service to a fully digital platform, streamlining communication between pathologists and surgeons and significantly improving turnaround time, a model that gained institutional recognition.
My research is collaborative and translational, with published work in HPV-related cytology, salivary gland tumor immunophenotyping, thyroid cytology, and treatment response in squamous cell carcinoma.
I am passionate about education and mentorship and have worked closely with residents and fellows both at the microscope and in formal teaching roles.
I look forward to contributing to both the clinical and academic missions—expanding digital pathology efforts, fostering education, and continuing collaborative research that bridges technology and patient care.
