About Dr. Michael P. Kim

Dr. Kim is a Surgical Oncologist with specific expertise in surgery of the pancreas. Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. Following the completion of a complex general surgical oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Kim joined the Department of Surgical Oncology to establish a research program in pancreatic cancer. Dr. Kim has particular interests in the management of cystic neoplasms of the pancreas and runs the pancreatic cyst clinic at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
