About Dr. Miral Mahesh Patel
Dr. Patel received her combined MD/BLA degree and completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Afterward, Dr. Patel completed her radiology residency at UT Houston. She then finished a year of fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging with a focus on Breast/Body Imaging at MD Anderson. Dr. Patel’s clinical focus is on advancing our mission in the early diagnosis and management of breast cancer in the community through a multidisciplinary approach to obtain optimal treatment outcomes. Her current areas of research include primary angiosarcoma of the breast and imaging of the breast post breast conservation therapy. She also has an interest in resident and fellow education. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling.
