About Dr. Omran Saifi
Dr. Omran Saifi received his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where he served as Chief Resident. He then joined the faculty at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Section of Hematologic Malignancies within the Department of Radiation Oncology, focusing on the treatment of blood cancers. His clinical and research interests focus on integrating radiation therapy with novel therapeutics for lymphoma, including CAR T-cell therapy, bispecific antibodies, and other targeted or immune-modulating agents, to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with blood cancers. Dr. Saifi has received multiple national awards for his research in lymphoma and is an active member of national cooperative research groups and professional societies. He is also committed to advancing equitable access to radiation therapy and developing clinical trials that refine its role in the era of modern cancer therapeutics.
