About Dr. Son V Nguyen
As a native Texan and lifelong learner, Dr Nguyen strives to provide the kind of care for his patients that he would want for his loved ones. He is dedicated to taking care of patients through the entire cancer journey using critical thinking, compassion, and strong communication. He collaborates with patients, their families, oncologists, subspecialists, and others to address his patients’ unique challenges and complex problems. Dr Nguyen serves as a clinical-educator with Internal Medicine residents, Onco-Hospitalist fellows, and senior medical students. He has a special interest in quality improvement and clinical care delivery, especially with patients who have a new diagnosis of cancer and is involved in the evolving field of onco-hospital medicine.
