About Dr. Sun Mi Lee
Dr. Sun (Sunny) Mi Lee is an associate professor in the Department of Anatomical Pathology, Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She specializes in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. Dr. Lee graduated from the College of Medicine at Ewha Womans University (Seoul, Korea). She completed her AP/CP residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Lee completed subspecialty fellowship training in surgical pathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, and cancer biomarkers focused on solid tumor molecular pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX). Her primary research interests include molecular alterations and identifying diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in gastrointestinal and liver tumors.
