About Dr. Wendong Yu
I am a Pathologist with special interests in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, and Cytopathology. I love the art and science of Pathology, enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with trainees, and understands the increasingly critical roles of Pathology in patient care. Besides clinical services, I am also involved in cytologist education as Executive Advisor for the Cytotechnology program in the School of Health Professions, and various developing projects as Division Representative for Houston Area Locations (HALs) and Medical Director of Anatomic Pathology for West Houston Diagnostic Imaging laboratory. My research includes the clinical utility of Mass Spectrometry imaging, morphologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular studies of various bone and soft tissue tumors, and HPV in head and neck tumors.
